Tara Bryan Gallery 10 Marshalsea Road London SE1
The site of the gallery is Marshalsea Road which links up with the Tate Modern, Borough Market, The Jerwood Space & Bankside.
The Building erected in 1861,was a Doctor's Surgery,
Following the close of nearby Marshalsea Prison 1500 -1842.
The debtors gaol was home for a year to the father of a young Charles Dickens his
childhood memories a source of inspiration for Little Dorrit.
Not a great deal has changed inside the house, it still reflects typical Victorian London architecture.
